woah your cosplay is amazing:happybounce:,like your look so great , did you make the dress yourself? i been planning to cosplay satsuki and kinda need some pointers on making the dress, i would really appreciate it Clap

Thank you! Yes the dress is self-made. There is a main dress pattern + seifuku collar pattern + chinese collar pattern for this.
- main dress first
- seifuku + chinese collar together
- and attached with a back zip

My team and I used a stretchy material and I worked my pattern a little smaller so the stretch would fit me around my bodice. But it was really difficult to sew I was in tears LOL

The "eyes" and its bow are made seperately and attached on later. This should be easy.
The gold shoulder pads and the details on the body are also made seperately.

Gold stripes:
- once the main dress is completed, I put it on and,
- used masking tape around the parts where the gold details will go,
- sketched out the stripes positions (having a friend helps, esp the back is EXTREMELY difficult to self-sketch/draft lol
- took off the costume together with the tapes still on it
- peel off the whole thing carefully and trim out the actual pattern
- trace the pattern to a clean copy
- I split the pattern into 3-4 stripes
- apply on art card,
- apply on pvc but with 1cm allowance all around
- glued the art card copy ontop of the pvc copy, and wrap the allowance over the artcard <-- this is to give the gold details a sense of thickness
- I did another extra pvc copy but this time the stripes are....not seperate pieces, I did a copy of its entire shape (so the seperate pieces go ontop of it and prevents any "missing" gold from in-between the stripes)
- once both sides are done and dry, I wore my main costume again and (with help of someone) attached on the gold details with glue
- only remove clothing once the adhesive has cured (dried) with the gold pieces firmly attached
- top stitch the gold with sewing machine for extra securing

Im sorry this is super theory-heavy. I will try to photograph the working patterns I used and post them on my FB to share. Good Luck!
